In the Company of Seahorses (Wild Nature Press) By one-piece-live-action-cast78.blogspot.com
Seahorses are instantly recognisable and have been a part of our culture for millennia, yet we still know very little about these enigmatic creatures.
Steve Trewhella and Julie Hatcher have spent hundreds of hours in British waters observing native seahorses, witnessing at first hand how they behave in the wild, and how they interact with the other plants and animals in their underwater realm.
With stunning photography, In the Company of Seahorses paints a rich picture of a mysterious world amongst swaying seagrass and colourful seaweeds. The accompanying text is packed with personal anecdotes describing the authorsâ journey of discovery, illustrating for the first time the secretive lives of these elusive animals in British waters.
By sharing one coupleâs passion for an entrancing ocean icon, this book aims to inspire, inform and create a better understanding of the seahorse and its often vulnerable habitats around the British coastline. In the Company of Seahorses (Wild Nature Press)
A very interesting and well written book, Iâve been reading this on and off for the past few days now and Iâm really enjoying it. It is a great book for referencing against as well. Would recommend to anyone who wants to learn about the UK southern coastal marine life. Hardcover Another fantastic book from these great specialists! Hardcover For personal use, information and interest on seahorses. Had not expected to see other creatures within the pages of the book. This did not detract in any way from my wish to have the book, in fact it added to my interest in the environment and wildlife. Hardcover This bbook deals with the two species of seahorses that are endemic in UK waters but the majority of the book (202) pages covers fish, crustaceans and birds that live in the same environment as seahorses.
For the seahorses is recorded anatomy, lifee cycle, camoflage, predators, prey,,threats and habitats
Thje companions included 15 specifish, of ish, crustaceans, molluscs and birds.
Excellent text and pictures but a very disappointing book. In the Company of Seahorses (Wild Nature Press)
