I really enjoyed this book. It gave me the chance to learn more about blue whales. For example, I didn’t know that they were solitary creatures who didn’t even stay around for their young (at least the fathers). Kids of all ages, and even adults, will love learning about the blue whale. i really really really wanna give this book a 5 star rating ...the illustrations are drop dead gorgeous. they are just amazing ... but being that i read it through KU please know the illustrations and text are just in the middle for the kindle fire screen ... so it super tiny and the text is made even tiny-er ... this would be a great book for your book shelf. the sea creatures are just amazingly done ... so life like ... i think it would be awesome to have a sea life room. nice! Journey of a Blue Whale takes you on a night and day journey of a blue whale’s life. I didn’t find it as interesting as others. An awesome book cover, great hand-drawn colored pictures, charming illustrations & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary age) young blue whale storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s young blue whale movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini-TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.

Childrens Lovely story!

The Blue Whale by Yuliya Barannikova is a delightful story about a lone whale as he traverses the ocean and the sights he sees. It's about the whale's adventures of daily life. Fiction but not at the same time. A great teaching story and great entertaining story! The illustrations are beautiful! Childrens The Blue Whale will take you along a journey and leave you wanting to stay. And the illustrations are just absolutely gorgeous.

I would love to know if there will be more of these books with stories about different animals as I think they would make a beautiful collection.

And if you're a parent with a child that loves animals then I highly recommend these two books. 20 Read for my toddler as a story time. Beautiful story about a whale, the biggest fish in the sea. Love the illustrations! The blue whale lead a lonely life. Even if they have babies, they don’t stay with the family. They like to eat krill. They go above water and underwater.
