But I was barely here an hour before I was pinned down in the woods by a savage.
I should be glad I escaped, but I cant stop thinking about the boy who thought he could lay his hands on me.
Worst of all, everyone in my new school sees the monster in the woods as a prince.
Well Ive got news for you, Prince Briar. Ive got nothing left to lose.
No reason to back down.
Beasts like you should be locked up, and Ill do whatever it takes to make sure the world sees you for the brutal monster you are.
Briar
Just when I thought my life couldnt get screwed up, a little rabbit found her way into my woods.

I thought it was the end of everything.
Until I showed up at school Monday morning and saw her.
My little rabbits decided not to run. Shes decided to fight.
But theres no way shell make it out alive.
I thought I was a changed man but Im nothing but a beast, after all.
Come here, little rabbit. It's been a while since I've destroyed something as innocent as you.

Brutal Bully: A Dark High School Bully Romance
What did I just read?? Dumb and dumber ? I get that these books are all fictional , but still, in order to develop Romance, there should be some semblance of a story that depicts the evolution of the Romance, unless itâs instalust. However, this author ping pongs from the Mc hating to lusting to hating..,, and on and on it goes. After that horrific ordeal, how do you write an epilogue like that ? HEA?? Seriously ?? That is what nightmares are made of , not HEA. This author really needs help developing storylines and characters as well as putting a story together that syncs with the plot. This is all over the place. Heroine is dumber than a doorknob and the hero? Dumbest one if all!! If you like Rape and sexual abuse than this is for you. But, of not , stay away. This was the worse book ever! Iâm disappointed. Iâm not sure how this book is considered Romance. I didnât feel any connection between them and there wasnât an ounce of Romance until the last page of the book. English But I loved it all. The characters are all complex and different. Indigo is my favorite. Prince is just as chaotic and twisted as No spoilers. But I loved his character just as much. Will be reading from this author ASAP. Brutal Bully: A Dark High School Bully Romance If you like super dark books you'll probably like this. I wish there was another genre for this because I keep coming across these and they're just a bit too much on the dark side for me. It's one thing to do mean pranks at school but descriptive violence done to a woman goes passed my tolerance. Unfortunately, you can't unread what you've read. Yes, there were warnings about triggers and such but other books don't go this far and they provide warnings as well. Anyway, I read the book. I knew who the bad guy was right away. Prince was a bit slow in the smarts department. I have problems with a guy who is cool being a rapist. The relationship between Indi and her grandmother was, odd. Let's make her a mean, evil, Christian who won't buy her grand daughter any new clothes. Haha. Especially underwear! Haha. Ok, I'm done. Not my cup of tea. But again, I know there are folks who enjoy the dark side. If you're that person, you'll like it. Brutal Bully: A Dark High School Bully Romance About Bullying & Tragedy In A Warped World Filled With Secrets And Crime.
*This book is not recommended for anyone that requires trigger warnings.*
More than just a high school bully story, Brutal Prince takes place in a dark and very twisted world similar to other books and series by the author. Lavish is nestled against the sinister peaks of Devil's Spine, near its sister town of Mallhaven. The picturesque town suffered from a stint of violent robberies last year, leaving the wealthy residents scrambling for security cameras.
Indigo Virgo believes that love is for masochists. She used to do things like brush her hair, wear makeup, and dress nicely. She was a few months shy of her eighteenth birthday when her life was irrevocably altered. Having lost her mother to a violent home invasion, Indi is sent to Lavish in Fool's Gold County to live with a grandmother she doesn't know. Marigold is cold and rigid and clearly not happy about her new charge. Alone and shifting from depression to anger and back again as she deals with her new reality, Indi clings to the one thing she has left of her mother a valuable sapphire necklace given to her mother by her dad, just prior to his death from cancer five years ago.
Prince Briar arrogant, agressive, passionate, and impulsive is Lavish Prep's best receiver. He pushes himself to excel in order to get his name in the paper and capture the attention of his mostly absent father. His mom died in an accident when he was five, so he practically lives alone in the sprawling Briar mansion. He and his best friend Marcus have one a other's backs, though. After his birthday party ten months ago, they agreed that one of them would always stay sober at parties, but for the most part Briar just avoids them and girls since everything that happened with Jessica.
His life is on the line now and the rumors are pure torture. It is impossible for him to forget that he is a monster, so he no longer hides the animal inside. The whole town knows to be wary of him, so when he spots a trespasser on his property while out for his nightly jog, it hardly computes how someone would be stupid enough to venture onto his property. Because protects what is his.
After a less than welcoming greeting from her grandmother, Indi takes a walk to clear her head but soon finds she has lost her trail. She had no idea that there was a monster in the woods. When she sees the monster at school the next morning, everything goes from bad to worse.
Briar and Indi's tragic and twisted story pulls the reader into a cruel world, riveted with suspense, yet offers a bit of redemption and a very satisfying HEA. Indi's myriad of emotions following her mother's death leave her emotionally unstable, yet she maintains the strength to keep going on in spite of her grandmother's rejection and the bullying she endures. She channels her frustration into a quest for justice, but that isn't easily accomplished as the new girl in town. Briar struggles emotionally as well. He has suffered from loneliness for most of his life. More recently, he struggles to understand how he turned into an animal, and how to rein it in. Indi challenges his self control and is therefore a threat, despite what he realizes he feels for her. Both Indi and Briar work through their struggles over the course of a suspenseful week while truths and revelations lead to them to a shocking conclusion.
Briar and Indi's riveting story is a fantastic dark read about bullying and tragedy in a warped world filled with secrets and crime. The POV alternates between Briar and Indi. The book is very well written. The plot is complex, intricately woven to maintain keen interest. The characters are very well defined, including the cast of supporting characters. I rate this book five stars.
I received a free advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Indi's loses her father to cancer and then her mother is murdered. She is sent to live with her grandmother and sent to a private school. She meets the school bully, Briar, who plays pranks on Indi.
Briar harbors a secret that he thinks he raped a former girlfriend. This novel flows very well and the material keeps you wanting to continue reading. A surprise and thrilling ending. In spite of figuring out the plot way too early, I really enjoyed reading this story. I love dark bully romances. The writing was pretty good.
I would recommend this book to those without triggers and who enjoy dark romances, because there is some non consensual stuff. Brutal Bully: A Dark High School Bully Romance Brutal Bully is the first book I have read by Logan. The book started out good but then I predicted everything. I like when an author can keep me on my toes till the end. This book was dark, intense, thriller and oh so creepy. There was some jaw dropping moments at the end that I didn't expect. I just may read book two. f-f-f I have really enjoyed this book even though there are some extremely dark and traumatic events during this book.
I had a feeling about Briar and I was right and I also knew who the killer was, I guessed at first but after that reaction at Dylanâs party I knew who the killer was.
The bit at her house with Addy was so sad and so heartbreaking for her.
Canât believe the betrayal from his half brother and didnât see that coming to be fair but the outcome was as it should have been. Consider me blown away.
There are definitely triggers in this but I fell into this book from the first chapter and didn't want to put it down. Cannot emphasise enough how great the plot is even when you figure it out before the characters it doesn't detract or give you that get with it feeling. One of the few books of give than 5 stars to if I could. f-f-f
