My son is 9 and looked forward to reading this as a part of our Science lesson It explains than just the story of Johnny Appleseed but the events occurring around him at the time as well Might satisfy a history component as well Very well written We used this book as a supplement to our American history this past Fall It also weaves neat 1 page side facts into the story I would definitely recommend to teachers homeschoolers or to moms of elementary aged kids Lots of pictures and easy to read aloud to my children Even my 4 year old enjoyed this book along with my 13 year old and the kids in between It was filled with useful facts at the end I learned some new facts too yuri Disappointing Not as good as the other Who Was books Boring really Paperback This book is good very interesting Great uality didn't come ripped or anything Except when the book came out of the package the back was folded it is kind of gone now but overall everything seems great Paperback
