[Lexa Luthor] Ù Dancing in the Darkness: An F/F Omegaverse Sci-Fi Romance (The Alpha God Book 1) [gnosticism Book] PDF ☆ Read Online eBook or Kindle ePUB
The book was actually pretty good but I skimmed through the love scene. Can't wrap around the whole penis thing. The world building was good and the cliff hanger my god, I wanted to shoot someone. If you can get over the penis one of the main characters has you will enjoy the book. If it was a true les book it would be a 4 star review. English I love the idea of strong women but after reaching the point where the very hot main character had a male organ, I must admit I skipped through the rest of the book. Hey to each his/her own but expecting a lesbian romance and loving the romance build up expecting female parts and getting essentially heterosexual scenes I was a little disappointed. Couldn't she have both Lexa Luthor The fact that it is f/f omegaverse says it all. Google it, or even better go to the writer's website where the relevant information is provided and don't nag afterwards.
That being said:
Excellently written specimen of the genre with characters that are true to their roles. The pair's chemistry may be a liiitle overplayed but it works. Good banter and action. If one squints hard they may see some Firefly influence but I don't know if it is intentionally.
Recommended for those that understand what they are getting themselves into.
Hope to see a part 2 soon. gnosticism I began my reading career devouring every Star Trek book out there. When I saw this mix, I will say I was a bit curious and a tad nervous, but figured I'd try it out. So glad I did.
I've read a lot of omegaverse (MF/MM), so I was curious how this FF would be in comparison. Charlie (female lead) is a for hire mercenary. She's has been hired by Kal, the lead Alpha from the planet she grew up and escaped from. Going back to her sort of home world, she meets with Kal and is surprised she is a woman. They organize a plan for Charlie to rescue a missing Omega, and while working together, Kal and Charlie get together. I won't give anything away, but Charlie is a little surprised, lol. The ending leaves us with a huge cliffhanger, and multiple deaths, so I kind of need book 2, asap!! Though, I'm willing to wait, since I love a good cliffhanger. It allows me to go back right before book 2 and re read book 1 all over again. :)
Well written, not over the top fantasy there is a strong level of normal. The dialogue and narrative are well balanced and the characters are grounded, which I love in these types of genres. The two female leads are both strong, which is a little different for an omegaverse, but I have to say, I LOVED it. The fact that Charlie wasn't overly submissive was great. She had a clear voice, total strength, and was willing to go up against her Alpha. Love the variation! I'd highly recommend, but beware if you are a cliffhanger hater. English If you like sci fi and can handle characters that are different to the norm and you like an action packed story with characters you can care about then you will enjoy this a lot. Warning tho. significant cliffhanger!
Altho it is a FF pairing and I was expecting an les sci fi thatâs not all it is. I was surprised to find out the Kal wasnât everything I had thought she was. I enjoyed having my mind expanded and came to care for the characters. The steamy sex scenes were done really well and altho a âmaleâ appendage isnât my thing I was able to enjoy other aspects of the scene that really did work me, hot dominate sex is sexy when well done, and it was well done. Also having a a Kal as a female totally worked for me as well. It also worked for this storyline, after all these people are aliens. I did find the strong female Alpha Kal and the way it was written was really well done. I would read book 2 and am looking forward to it.

I didnât know what to expect with this book. I really enjoyed it though a solid 3.5*. It had a fun storyline, although I found the long descriptive sex scene in the middle a bit much, I still enjoyed and then the adventure started again. Enjoyable short read. I think Iâll read the next one. I loved this book, the main characters are strong female and alpha female and very well written with their personalities shining through.
The action is fast but well paced at the same time, if that makes sense. I mean it's not unnecessarily drawn out but you still know what is happening and who is doing it and can just enjoy the scenes as they happen.
A good mix of character types and a well crafted world throw in a good plot with great characters and I'm one happy reader.
Did I mention the intimate scenes. They are so darn hot and steamy. OK the Omegaverse aspect may not be to everyone's taste but to me an open minded lesbian I enjoyed them alot.
I really felt Charlie and Kal come to life as I read about them, great writing
I highly recommend this to those who enjoy Sci fi / action and romance gnosticism This was my 1st foray into Omegaverse f/f and Iâve never heard of this author but I saw her post in one of my book groups. I was a bit nervous In the beginning but I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I thought it was an interesting take on the genre and the storyline was compelling. I thought the writer did an overall great job pulling the reader into the story and not giving everything away in this 1st book. I loved the premise of the Alpha being a rare breed of Alpha with both male & female reproductive organs and Charlieâs curiosity about said organs! I did hate the ending but only because I must know what happens because this does end in a cliff hanger. This book is brilliant. I read a lot of all genres. Both hetero and homo (lots of homo!ð) And this is a really well written book. The scfi world you are sucked into is so engaging and well written. You feel it, not just see it in your minds eye. The characters are strong and complex and you root for so many and the love story unfolding between the two main women is hot and sweet. There is the aspect of the girl p*nis but that bit is why you need to go to the authors website and read her post on the subject as it helps you understand where this is coming from and why it is f/f. The second book helps this develop further with the descriptions in the sex scenes and the reconfirming of the female features and aspects of the main characters. But it is also in this one of you are open to seeing it and not being caught up in the heteronormative way of looking at things not just men have p*nis's both real and not. You have to understand the f/f omegaverse trope to understand why this is not anything other than f/f and this is coming from a woman who has only been with women and is very put off by male anatomy and male attributes in general. It represents queer women and intersex people and for that alone it should be supported as we don't have enough of that. Add to this an amazingly engrossing scfi adventure well written with lots of strong sexy women not just the main two and you have a very satisfying f/f read. So glad I found it already devoured part 2 and can't wait for part 3! Now if this book was Real life what woman would need a man in their lives. I loved this book and my heart broke at the end. I recommend this book and shall be buying the next one. English
